New Members Classes

Our new members classes are open to anyone age 18 and over who is interested in becoming a certified basketball official.  Classroom instruction, including video and on-court training, will be provided to all prospective members.

Our New Members Class  for 2022 will begin in August.  We are also considering a Spring class depending upon site availability.  Classes typically run weekly for 10 weeks from late August through the mid-November.   

All prospective members are required to pay a $50 non-refundable fee during the first class.  This fee will be credited towards 1st year membership local and IAABO International dues.

No materials required for class other than pen/paper and a willingness to learn the basics of basketball officiating.
