New Members Classes

Our new members classes are open to anyone age 18 and over who is interested in becoming a certified basketball official.  Classroom instruction, including video and on-court training, will be provided to all prospective members.

Our New Members Class  for 2025 will begin on August 20th @ 6:00 PM.  All classes will be held at Gov. Thomas Johnson High School.  Classes typically run weekly for 10 weeks through the mid/late October.   

All prospective members will be advised of any fees owed upon completion of classroom/membership training.

No materials required for class other than pen/paper and a willingness to learn the basics of basketball officiating.
